kevinveenbirkenbachandClaude Opus 4.7 8090cf4545 fix(test-env): inspect matrix-variant inventories via POSIX glob
Matrix-variant deploys write `${INVENTORY_DIR}-N/devices.yml` only —
the unsuffixed path doesn't exist, so the old `cat ${INVENTORY_FILE}`
killed every distro job in test-environment CI. Walk the suffixed
glob inside the container and fall back to the unsuffixed path.

Inner CMD runs under `sh -lc` (dash on Debian) so stay strictly
POSIX: no `shopt nullglob`, no arrays, no `(( ))`.
