f660dd6bd introduced `${INFINITO_IMAGE_TAG:?}` in the image resolution, a hard requirement the replaced call deliberately did not have -- ci.sh exits 0 before its own assert when no registry owner is in scope. The check sat after the EXIT trap was armed and before the env layer is sourced, so a missing tag ran collect_and_teardown against a cluster that was never created, and the variable appeared in neither the # Param header nor the strict guard block that carries the other four required inputs.
Move it into that guard block, which runs before mktemp and before the trap, and drop the now-redundant inline assert.
