e1d513a3c0 replaced include=round_include with variant_scope in the payload resolve and left the loop variable without a reader, which ruff B007 rejects: 'Loop control variable round_include not used within loop body'. grep confirms the unpacking at matrix.py:388 is now its only occurrence.
