kevinveenbirkenbachandClaude Opus 5 a7b4ed3dac fix(ci): gate the release retag on architecture completeness too

964f3255f5 made the registry gate judge an image by the architectures it serves rather than by its existence, but the release retag stayed outside that gate: buildx imagetools create happily writes a version tag and latest from an incomplete source, and the gap only surfaced when someone pulled on the missing architecture.

Both freshly written references are now asserted through the same helper, which reports an unreachable manifest as serving nothing and therefore fails rather than passing in silence.

Image Scripts

This directory contains scripts related to the image lifecycle used by the project.

🏗️ Build container images for local and CI workflows
📦 Publish, retag, and maintain image artifacts in registries
🔧 Keep image-focused automation grouped in one place

The scope of this folder is image handling. Workflow orchestration, metadata resolution, and generic waiting logic should live in other script directories.
