Proxy: - server_tokens off, X-Powered-By stripped from upstream responses, HSTS max-age raised to one year. - No global X-Content-Type-Options: under nosniff, ORB (step 3.4) blocks no-cors cross-origin responses typed text/html, e.g. tracking beacons answered with an empty 204. PHP (CVE-2026-109618, CVE-2026-109619): - New role sys-svc-compose-php installs a shared ini (expose_php Off, session.upload_progress.enabled 0, fatal_error_backtraces 0 for PHP 8.5, interim memory_limit -1) and a PHP-FPM [www] drop-in (pm.max_requests = PHP_FPM_MAX_REQUESTS) once per stack host, before 04_files renders any compose file. - The host file names carry a sha1 prefix of the controller-side source, so a content change alters every PHP app's compose.yml and recreates it, also on remote deploys where compose_volumes cannot read the stack host file and hashes the path instead. - 20 PHP roles mount the ini as a compose/swarm config into their image's scan dir; moodle, nextcloud and shopware also mount the FPM drop-in. Magento keeps its own pool: its php-fpm.conf has no include= and is rendered without notify. - Joomla's php-upload.ini now loads as zzz-joomla-uploads.ini so its own memory_limit wins: the media API compares Content-Length with toBytes(memory_limit) and rejects every upload at -1. TODOs record the memory_limit revert condition and accepted trade-offs, Akaunting on PHP 8.1, FusionDirectory on PHP 7.4 and the public Keycloak admin console. YOURLS
Description
YOURLS (Your Own URL Shortener) is an open‑source URL shortening solution that enables you to create, track, and manage short links with ease. This deployment leverages Docker to provide a secure and easily scalable environment, ensuring that your YOURLS instance is configured for optimal performance and reliability.
Overview
This containerized YOURLS solution is built on robust Docker Compose and Ansible automation. It simplifies the deployment process by integrating with centralized MariaDB management and providing pre‑configured health checks and environment settings. Whether you're looking to quickly generate memorable links or need detailed analytics, this deployment supports your digital strategy seamlessly.
Cosmos
The diagram places YOURLS in the Infinito.Nexus cosmos: the components it deploys (capabilities), the central services it consumes (dependencies), and its outward reach (federation and bridged external networks).

linkStyle 6 stroke:red;
Solid 1:1 edges are fixed relationships; dashed 0..1 edges are conditional (enabled only in matching deployments); red 0..0 edges are turned off in this role. Node markers show the role's deploy modes (💻 host, 🐳 compose, 🐝 swarm); ❌ marks a service that is explicitly turned off, and ⚙️ an Ansible role dependency declared in meta/main.yml.
Features
-
Efficient URL Shortening:
Quickly generate short, branded links that help streamline your online presence. -
Built-in Analytics:
Monitor link performance and track click data to gain valuable insights into user engagement. -
Centralized Database Integration:
Seamlessly connect to a MariaDB instance for consistent, reliable data storage and management. -
Configurable Environment:
Easily customize your YOURLS instance through environment variables: set your site URL, admin credentials, and more. -
Secure and Scalable:
Benefit from container isolation and reproducible deployments that ensure your service is both secure and scalable.
Quick Setup
Development
Clone, set up the workstation, and deploy YOURLS onto the local stack:
git clone https://github.com/infinito-nexus/core.git
cd core
make onboard
make compose-deploy mode=reinstall apps=web-app-yourls full_cycle=false
Production
Run the published image to provision the inventory and deploy YOURLS to a managed server (the mounted volume persists the inventory):
APP=web-app-yourls
HOST=<your-server>
DOMAIN=<your-domain>
TLS_MODE=self_signed
SSH_PUBLIC_KEY="<your-ssh-public-key>"
docker run --rm -it \
-v "$PWD/inventories:/etc/infinito.nexus/inventories" \
-e APP="$APP" -e HOST="$HOST" -e DOMAIN="$DOMAIN" -e TLS_MODE="$TLS_MODE" -e SSH_PUBLIC_KEY="$SSH_PUBLIC_KEY" \
ghcr.io/infinito-nexus/core/debian bash -c '
INVENTORY=/etc/infinito.nexus/inventories/production
infinito administration inventory provision "$INVENTORY" \
--inventory-file "$INVENTORY/devices.yml" \
--host "$HOST" \
--include "$APP" \
--vars "{\"TLS_MODE\": \"$TLS_MODE\", \"DOMAIN_PRIMARY\": \"$DOMAIN\", \"users\": {\"administrator\": {\"authorized_keys\": [\"$SSH_PUBLIC_KEY\"]}}}" &&
infinito administration deploy dedicated "$INVENTORY/devices.yml" \
--password-file "$INVENTORY/.password" \
--diff -vv'
Further Resources
Persona contract opt-outs
YOURLS has no native SSO; the admin session is minted from the oauth2-proxy identity header by the shunt_is_valid_user drop-in in files/sso/infinito_sso.php, which honours the header only on the gated admin path and only for members of the YOURLS administrator group.
The gate itself admits only that same RBAC group (meta/services.yml), so biber is rejected before YOURLS renders anything: templates/playwright.env.j2 declares PERSONA_BIBER_BLOCKED=true, and the denial is asserted explicitly by files/playwright/test-biber-denied.js. The administrator persona stays live and exercises the bridge end to end.
