kevinveenbirkenbachandClaude Opus 4.8 15e7647d2f refactor(env): central TZ+LANG base included by every role env.j2
New roles/sys-svc-container/templates/env.j2 sets TZ={{ HOST_TIMEZONE }} and LANG=C.UTF-8. Every role env.j2 includes it at the top; it renders via stack_host_template, the same engine that resolves the includes in compose.yml.j2, so it works in both compose and swarm. TZ/LANG are removed from the individual role env.j2 so each value stays single-source.

New lint tests/lint/ansible/test_env_base_include.py verifies every role env.j2 includes the base and never re-sets a base-owned key (keys derived from the base file).

mattermost and gitea meta/volumes.yml drop the /etc/timezone host-path bind: swarm hard-rejects a task whose bind source is missing on the node (Debian-trixie nodes have no /etc/timezone). TZ now comes from the base env. /etc/localtime bind also dropped; the container timezone follows TZ.

Non-directive comments were removed from the touched env.j2 (banners, restatements, reference URLs, narration) so the changed files pass the comment-lint; only tool directives remain.

kevinveenbirkenbachandClaude Opus 4.8 0d1ba1777f fix(fider): allow OAuth callbacks to the internal Keycloak
Fider's SSRF guard (validate.WebhookURL) 500s the OAuth callback when the Keycloak host resolves to an internal/overlay IP, so login never completes. Set ALLOW_PRIVATE_NETWORK_TARGETS=true so it can reach the trusted internal Keycloak.

kevinveenbirkenbachandClaude Opus 4.8 f17d68fae3 feat(web-app): SeaweedFS S3 object-store integration for 9 Tier A roles
Wire nine database-backed web-app roles to the shared SeaweedFS object store
via the engine-agnostic objstore lookup, following the existing consumer recipe
(declare the seaweedfs service, render the app S3 config from
lookup('objstore', application_id, ...), add the e2e test). Each app's S3
config keys were verified against the upstream docs/source, and all honor
SeaweedFS path-style addressing + the internal http endpoint:

- fider: BLOB_STORAGE=s3 + BLOB_STORAGE_S3_*
- snipe-it: split s3_private/s3_public disks, single bucket via BUCKET_ROOT, *_AWS_PATH_STYLE
- mobilizon: Uploader.S3 + ExAws (private)
- decidim: ActiveStorage amazon service, force_path_style
- taiga: django-storages, AWS_S3_ADDRESSING_STYLE=path
- shopware: Flysystem amazon-s3 adapter, use_path_style_endpoint
- magento: remote_storage driver aws-s3 + endpoint
- matrix: s3_storage_provider module baked into the image + media_storage_providers
- gitlab: consolidated object storage, single bucket split into per-type virtual buckets, path_style

Both object-store guards (test_database_requires_seaweedfs,
test_seaweedfs_consumer_playwright) pass; autoformat clean.

kevinveenbirkenbachandClaude Opus 4.7 8647a43ec8 refactor(fider): extract SQL into files/*.sql + always render EMAIL_* env
Two issues bundled because the changes overlap on the same role:

1. SQL extraction
The admin-user bootstrap and the OIDC-provider UPSERT lived inside
bash heredocs in `files/*.sh`, which Ansible invoked via the `script:`
module. The colon-prefix in `:'var'` only routes through psql's lexer
when SQL comes from stdin or `-f`, so passing it through `-c "..."` —
the original form before this branch — failed with `syntax error at
or near ":"`. Extract the SQL into `files/create_admin_user.sql` and
   `files/configure_oidc_provider.sql`, embed via `lookup('file', ...)`
into an `ansible.builtin.shell` task, and feed psql via `stdin:`.
   Drops the bash wrappers entirely.

2. EMAIL_* env always rendered
Fider's env loader `panic`s at startup with `the environment variable
"EMAIL_SMTP_HOST" is missing` (and friends) regardless of whether the
relay is reachable. Drop the `services.email.enabled` gate around the
SMTP block so the container starts on email-disabled stacks. The
   `lookup('email', ...)` helper returns sane infinito.nexus defaults
when the service flag is off.

kevinveenbirkenbachandClaude Opus 4.7 2dbb2aaa1a feat(email): introduce lookup('email') plugin, migrate all consumers
Moves the SYSTEM_EMAIL_* resolution logic out of group_vars/all/03_email.yml
into a dedicated Ansible lookup plugin, so every role template reads outgoing
mail settings via lookup('email') (global) or lookup('email', application_id)
(per-app). Per-app compose.services.email is merged on top of the resolved
defaults; SYSTEM_EMAIL_* variables remain usable as an inventory escape hatch.

Also splits the email docs: administrator-facing configuration stays under
docs/administration/configuration/, plugin contract and extension rules move
to docs/contributing/design/services/email.md. services.md is relocated to
services/base.md so the services/ subtree can host per-service design pages.

kevinveenbirkenbachandClaude Opus 4.6 b70a783423 refactor(lookups): migrate to runtime applications/users lookups
Replaces inline `applications`/`users` merging with dedicated lookup
plugins and runtime hydration. Introduces `add_csp_hash` filter,
integrates sort into `find_dock_val_by_bkp_entr`, splits the Keycloak
one-shot realm import into `05a_realm_import_run.yml`, and fixes the
Mastodon administrator task YAML. Removes obsolete `csp_hashes` filter,
`sys-token-store` Jinja filter, and empty CLI setup modules.
