The header and the rule lists narrated the config instead of being an
exception, a parameter doc or a nocheck directive, and one of them was
wrong: it listed MD040 as kept on while the config disables it. No key
or value changes.

The 16.0.0 entry pkgmgr wrote on top of CHANGELOG.md uses "-" bullets
while every older entry uses "*". MD004's default "consistent" style takes
the marker of the first list in a file, so lint-markdown reported 400
MD004 findings in CHANGELOG.md and the pre-push gate refused the release
push.
MD004 is now pinned to "dash", the marker pkgmgr and the changelog skill
write, and make autoformat (markdownlint-cli2 --fix) converted the lists
of the 72 files that still used "*". Only list markers changed.

The workflow-reference lint walked every project file and markdownlint
globbed the whole tree, so a composer vendor tree turned both red with
findings from third-party packages nobody here maintains.
The sandbox bind-mounts /dev/null over the deny-write entries in
.claude/, so .claude/loop.md is a character device (1,3) on the host.
Those nested mounts do not propagate into the debian lint container
that gets the repo bind-mounted at /opt/src/infinito, so
markdownlint-cli2 sees the dirent while globbing and then dies on
open(): ENOENT. That failed lint-markdown and with it the pre-push
gate.
Both .agents and .claude are gitignored in full -- git ls-files
lists only .claude/.gitignore and .claude/settings.json, neither of
them markdown -- so widening the two existing per-subdir ignores to
the directories drops no linted content.

.cache/ holds generated worktree checkouts, so it was neither ignored nor
excluded from the markdownlint globs. That put 809 foreign markdown files in
scope; the read-only pass tolerated them, but autoformat's --fix could not
write there and took the whole quality gate down.

Add the i8* terminal aliases (make install-alias) and ai8* agent
conversation shortcuts (docs/.../agents/alias.md), move skill
distribution to the external INFINITO_SKILLS_REPOSITORY (make
install-skills), and add make cheat, make alias and make onboard. Introduce
custom.env operator overrides (win over defaults and handlers) and pin
INFINITO_ALIAS_MD / INFINITO_ALIAS_REPOSITORY / INFINITO_SKILLS_REPOSITORY
in default.env. Drop the in-repo skills-lock.json and its update-skills CI
job. AGENTS.md instructs agents to suggest the matching cli/prompt alias
when an operator writes something an alias covers. Lints enforce alias
sorting, i8/ai8 prefixes, no consonant clusters, full make-target
coverage, and terminal/agent shortcut non-overlap.

The lint walk fix in commit 115196f28 dropped `.agents/skills/` and
`.claude/skills/` from the python / shellcheck / generic walks but did
NOT extend the same exclusion to `markdownlint-cli2`, which has its
own glob config in `.markdownlint-cli2.jsonc`. As a result every
`pre-commit run make-lint-markdown` flagged 14 baseline findings in
vendored skill README / SKILL.md files (MD041 first-line-heading,
MD045 no-alt-text) — those ship from upstream skill repos and follow
their own conventions.
Add `.agents/skills/**` and `.claude/skills/**` to the `ignores` array.
Drop the two patterns that match zero files today:
- `tests/**/fixtures/**` — there is no `fixtures/` directory anywhere
under `tests/`; the actual fixture files are Python modules named
`_fixtures.py` (already covered by the markdownlint glob's `**/*.md`
restriction).
- `docs/changelog/archive/**` — there is no `archive/` directory under
`docs/changelog/`.
`.github/PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE/**` is kept (still matches the six
template files).
Verified: `make lint-markdown` now reports `0 error(s)` over
686 files (was 716 walked / 14 errors before).

Tooling integration
* add .markdownlint-cli2.jsonc, .ansible-lint, .ansible-lint-ignore
configs (permissive day-1: cosmetic rules disabled, semantic ones on)
* extend scripts/install/lint.sh with generic install_pip_pkg helper +
ensure_ansible_lint / ensure_galaxy_importer / ensure_markdownlint_cli2
ensure_* functions (pip / npm with sudo / --user / --break-system-packages
fallbacks). install_ansible_tools now also pulls ansible-lint and
galaxy-importer; new `markdown` install group.
* extend scripts/lint/ansible.sh to run ansible-lint after the existing
syntax-check.
* add scripts/lint/markdown.sh and scripts/lint/galaxy.sh runners. The
galaxy runner parallelizes via xargs (-P=$(nproc)), prints OK/FAIL per
role, and treats `bare-name dependency` errors as success since our
roles/ tree is not a Galaxy collection layout. All other Galaxy schema
errors still fail.
* Makefile: new lint-markdown and lint-galaxy targets, both wired into
`make lint`.
* CI: new workflows lint-markdown.yml and lint-galaxy.yml; lint-ansible.yml
now installs ansible-core + ansible-lint; ci-orchestrator wires both
new lint workflows into lint-gate.
Galaxy schema fixes
* shorten the canonical `galaxy_info.company` block from three lines to
two ("Kevin Veen-Birkenbach\nhttps://www.veen.world", 45 chars) so it
stays under Galaxy's hard 50-char limit. Updated everywhere: 229 role
meta/main.yml plus _CANONICAL_COMPANY in
tests/lint/repository/test_role_meta_main_galaxy_schema.py.
* shorten 19 over-long role descriptions to <=255 chars.
* add stub READMEs for sys-svc-compose-ca and sys-utils-service-loader.
Markdown baseline fixes
* markdownlint-cli2 --fix run repo-wide (formatting normalization
across CHANGELOG, role READMEs, docs).
* manual MD041 fixes: prepend H1 in 15 files (CHANGELOG, LICENSE,
TODO.md helpers, role README templates, etc.).
* MD025 / MD003 / MD001 / MD032 manual fixes for heading-style and
list-spacing edge cases.
* role README content polish: "## Single Point of Truth (SPOT)" headings
renamed to "## User data resolution" (D3 self-label rule).
