# Jrnl

## Description

[Jrnl](https://jrnl.sh/) is a simple and effective command-line journal application that allows users to create and manage personal journal entries.

## Overview

This role automates the installation of Jrnl using the `community.general.pacman` module for systems that support the Pacman package manager, ensuring that Jrnl is installed and up to date.

## Cosmos

The diagram places Jrnl in the Infinito.Nexus cosmos: the components it deploys (capabilities), the central services it consumes (dependencies), and its outward reach (federation and bridged external networks).

## Quick Setup

### Development

Clone, set up the workstation, and deploy Jrnl onto the local stack:

```

### Production

Install Jrnl directly onto the target machine: clone the repository, install the OS prerequisites and the repository toolchain, then deploy against localhost over a local connection (no SSH, no container):
